AIESEC Ontario:- The Home Stretch

HEY ONTARIO!

Hope you have all recovered well from NLDC and are kicking ass in your LCs and summer jobs.

I am just emailing you to remind you that there are 15 more days left till the end of our first quarter in 2006/2007. Ladies and Gentlemen, this is the home stretch of OUR 1ST QUARTER!!! We have 15 days left. 15 days to kick ass in what is historically our biggest quarter of the year.

So how have we done so far? Well the table below outlines your goals, results and matching pipeline for Quarter 1 of the 06/07 AIESEC year. More analysis of the numbers is found below the table.

RAISING

We had a goal of raising 78 forms, we have accomplished over 50% of our goal and we have many SN packages we are waiting for quiet a few TNs in the pipeline. York has definitely done some amazing work with their SN raising and has managed to resign 4 internships in the last 4 months! Also Toronto and Ottawa have also had a second review board focused on DT and TT SNs. Our Performance has been over all strong in raising when compared to Q1 2005.

REALIZING

We had a goal of realizing 43 exchanges, both incoming and outgoing. As of this afternoon we have realized only 14. Last year same quarter we realized 29 exchanges [not including India and Genesis SNs]. Now I find this very disturbing for a few reasons. First this is less than 25% of our goal. Second, this is less than half of the realization numbers of Q1 2005. Finally, I find it hard to say ONTARIO ON TOP! Especially when we are trailing behind the country in realizations. Actually, AIESEC HEC has realized more SNs than all of us combined in Ontario.

So with that being said, I want to highlight and recognize AIESEC Queen's for having some of the fastest delivery times and highest delivery rates in Ontario. Already Queen's has matched all of their available SNs.

Ladies and Gent's, Ontarians, we have 58 forms on available on Insight. 50 SNs waiting for their lives to be changed and 8 organizations that are waiting for talented people from around the world. Even though we are 29 realizations behind goal we have 58 people sitting, waiting and wishing to be changed and exchanged. 58 people from around the world and Ontario waiting for a life changing opportunity.

Guys, I have 15 days left as your RVP, in those 15 days, please use and abuse me to help us reach our goal. Whether its a TN manager that's not returning your emails or you cant find forms that match your needs, I am there for you. Someone asked me during NLDC, what does it mean to be "ON TOP"? I told them, for me: ONTARIO ON TOP means that as a region we will strive to be the best in everything we do, at all times.
